Kelley Engineering Center DUP- OSU
This project included the installation and piping for 3 cooling towers, 4 chillers, 8 main distribution pumps, filtering and chemical treatment systems and distribution mains connected to the existing buildings and included BIM coordination.
Campus Steam Distribution Upgrades- WOU
M.P.P.’s scope of work for the project was the installation of 4,000 feet of SS TUFF Pipe throughout the south end of campus. This included the installation of 12 vaults and tie-ins at 6 buildings.
Oregon Freeze Dry
This 12,800 SF expansion of the freeze dry facility was to assist in the creation of freeze dry food. Scope included the installation of equipment (cook pots, pumps) and associated piping which included steam, refrigerant, floor heat, hot water, cold water and city water. M.P.P. has ongoing projects at the facility.
State of Oregon Treasury Building Seismic Upgrades
The entire building was part of an earthquake resiliency project, which involved enhanced seismic installation standards. In the event of a 9.0 magnitude earthquake, the building is designed to remain fully operational for government functions. The scope of work included the installation of in-floor heating systems and hydronic piping throughout the building, as well as overseeing the plumbing aspects.
Jefferson Way Utility Tunnel- OSU
M.P.P.’s scope of work for this project was to install steam and condensate piping and supports inside the new tunnel, and install direct bury branch connections supplying 3 campus buildings. This project required close coordination with an adjacent project and campus facilities.
Boiler Projects
M.P.P. Piping has extensive experience in the installation and repair of boilers. Notable installation projects include the installation of feed water boilers at Kanto and New Season Food Inc., as well as several other food processing plants.
Food Grade Sanitary Piping Projects
M.P.P. Piping has extensive experience in the installation of sanitary piping. Notable installation projects include the installation of feed water boilers at Norpac, Oregon Foods, and Coca Cola, as well as several other food processing plants.
Yamasa Storage Tank Expansion
This expansion of the soy sauce manufacturing facility includes BIM coordination, installation of 11 new storage tanks and associated piping and platforms. M.P.P. has ongoing projects at the facility.
North District Utility Plant- OSU
M.P.P.’s scope of work for the project was the installation and piping of 6 cooling towers, 3 chillers, 6 main distribution pumps, filtering and chemical treatment systems, and underground distribution mains tying into the existing utility tunnel.
